ABOUT
Soul-centric, nature-based creative practice and community — for a lived sense of kinship and belonging with the animate Earth
Wild Heart Seed Wisdom Center is a creative learning community devoted to restoring life-enhancing culture for our human and the more-than-human world. Through soul-centric, nature-based creative practice, we rewild the psyche to a lived sense of kinship and belonging with the animate Earth—supporting self-healing, wholing, and the readiness to bring forth our soulful gifts.
Healing the root of disconnection by rewilding the self in service to wholehearted living
We are living amidst the Great Unraveling. Many of us feel called to a new way of living rooted in compassion, community, creative aliveness, and reciprocity with the living world in which we are embedded. Yet modern culture has shaped us toward productivity over presence, individualism over interdependence, and speed over soul.
At the heart of this moment is a collective loss of contact with our inner depths, with one another, and with the animate intelligence of nature. This disconnection sits at the root of many of our personal, cultural, spiritual, and ecological crises—and we have the tools to mend this fracture.
Rewilding the Psyche is the work of remembering our belonging among the entire web of life—and letting that belonging reshape our understanding of who we really are. We do this by tending our relationship with our psycho-spiritual self, the living earth, and each other—and by reclaiming deep imagination and creative exploration as ways of knowing.
“Wildness…it is perennially within us, dormant as a hard-shelled seed, awaiting the fire and flood that awakes it again.” — Gary SnyderOur Core Beliefs
-
This guides our work as we accompany you on the journey of self-healing and recovery of wholeness—often hidden by life experiences, social conditioning, and culturally prescribed ways of being that run counter to our ecocentric, soul-centric birthright.
-
Becoming an initiated adult involves cultivating emotional, psychological, and spiritual wholeness, integrating shadow and protective parts, and learning to act in ways that are grounded, wise, and aligned with life-enhancing purposes.
-
By engaging with the land, exploring inner imagery and dreams, and expressing ourselves through movement, art, or writing, we access the generative intelligence of the soul. These practices help us translate insight into embodied experience, cultivate wholeness, and deepen our felt connection to the living world.
-
The natural world is alive, sentient, and relational. We come from the Earth, and she continually nourishes and sustains us. When we engage with Earth as a being and a partner, rather than a resource, we cultivate a sustainable, life-enhancing relationship that informs both personal growth and ecological stewardship.
